Natasha has had a strong passion for animals ever since she was young.
Although her mom never understood where this passion came from, as she herself wasn’t much for animals. Natasha still managed to convince her mom to take animals in. Raised with mostly cats and a quiet demeanor, Natasha would bond with animals more so over people.
In 2012, an opportunity presented itself when a friend recommended a job working with animals at a top tier Daycare, Boarding, Grooming, Training and Vet Facility in Manhattan. There, Natasha started out as a Dog Handler learning the behaviors and basics of the business. She shortly got promoted into a Lead Handler and then a Dog Bather where she learned how to groom dogs and tips and tricks on maintaining your dog’s coat. Natasha had an opportunity to continue in the grooming field and learn how to be a Full Groomer but she declined it. She realized her passion laid with working one on one with customers regarding their pet’s needs, so she was promoted to a Front Desk Supervisor. As a Supervisor, she learned how to balance staff, client needs and still found time to spend time with the animals.
In Jan 2016, Natasha walked into Harlem Doggie Day Spa inquiring about grooming for her own dog and left with a job. You’ll soon learn her knowledge is diverse in your pet’s needs – from your dog’s behavior, to their basic vet care and all the individual quirks she picks up on your pup. Natasha holds a New York Animal Handling Technique Certificate.
She has 3 fur babies – a 16 year old, blind Cairn Terrier named Nikki; a 1 year old, abandonment rescue named Kipp and a 10 year old Blue Russian cat named Suki.
